Thanx for the enlightenment, Mr. T. Now it's my turn to get incensed, for anywhere on the cover of this tape it says it is an abridged version! Don't these guys have any respect for the consumer? The fact is that I tried to obtain any of Mr. Tull's readings by the usual way _ Amazon.com, but could not find them. The books on tape listed did not tell who the reader was. So, please, if I missed any earlier posting, tell me where to get the real stuff! I am particularly interest in M&C, being t ...

I was told that students are one good market for books on tape, notably the shorter versions. These guys would flinch from opening a real book, but would feel comfortable playing a cassette in their audio system. Daedalus Books has hardbacks of The Commodore too, also at reduced prices. And, surprise, surprise, they had discounted copies of Lobscouce and Spotted Dog!!!!!!! They must have a great demand for POB, though the catalog was compiled before the book was even released. Strange are the ways.
