Why would a mule be called "she"? Ummmm....unless I missed something vital in Jap's post, there seems to be a bit of basic zoological knowledge lacking here. Whie mules, a hybrid of a female horse and a male donkey, are almost always sterile, that does not preclude sexual differentiation. There are female mules and male mules.
