Hold hard, Sir! The book appeared in UK shops (and through my letter box) this very day. I should think that it will take until the weekend to read it, what with ...

Hear her, hear her. I received a phone message today from my local bookstore that my copy was ready to be picked up, but I can't read it until after November 6th and my email automatically goes from one to next, so I don't know what I'll do if any email before the 6th.     Susan is already reading, Bruce is probably tiptoeing into the stockroom of Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com informs me that my copy is on the way.     I should like to read it slowly and savor every word. I should like to tear right through it so I can discuss it with you all.     Since I don't know what I really WILL do until I have the lovely book in my hands, I would like to remind everyone (in the most gentle and unassuming manner) to please, please, please use spoiler alerts i ...

626 BATM -- rank: 633
I just found out that my local private bookstore has BATM in stock, so tonight after work, even though I am wearing a new and tight pair of shoes, I'm going to walk down State Street and get my copy. Gerry Strey (Anticipating, anticipating, anticipating. . . .)

And keep it up for the earlier ones, too -- this particular lissun is only through FoW on her first time through the canon (a little thing called school keeps getting in the way). I survived THD not too badly, after TIME magazine let out the biggest spoiler of them all, I think, so I'm not terribly worried, but I do want to read the things I will understand and not scare my roommate by screaming "That can't happen!" at the computer do to spoilers. I want to be able to live h ...
